Tanya joined Hearbase in June 2019. She is the senior audiologist at our new branch in Bexleyheath and is responsible for the private hearing aid service there.
She has extensive experience in both private and NHS fields which allows her to provide the best hearing solutions for people, combined with counselling and ongoing support.
Tanya gained a Masters degree in audiological science from University College London in 2006. She has worked in London hospitals, with a particular focus on balance, hearing rehabilitation in adults and paediatrics and medical aspects of hearing loss.
Before moving to private work Tanya had 10 years’ experience in the NHS. She worked in Charing Cross Hospital, Whittington NHS Trust and St Thomas’s Hospital, where she advanced her specialist interest in paediatric audiology by working with children with special needs.
She is also on a management committee for a local supplementary school, running sport and educational events.
Tanya ensures that her dedicated and caring approach makes hearing rehabilitation a joyful and rewarding experience for her patients and enriches their quality of life.
