It was all go at Hearbase this week when bride-to-be, Isabel Kydd, approached us to help with an emergency ear wax removal appointment to help improve her hearing before the big day.
After a quick webchat explaining the situation to us, a member of our patient care team contacted Joana Carvalho, the audiologist at our Deal branch, to see if she could fit in a very last minute appointment the same day.
Time was very limited as the patient was due to travel to Scotland for her wedding early the next day!
Fortunately, our Deal team came to the rescue and we got the offending wax out quickly and safely, following strict coronavirus protocols throughout.
“Everyone at Hearbase that we have encountered today has been really helpful in trying to make sure I have every possible chance of enjoying Saturday,” wrote Isabel in her website blog post after the procedure.
Another happy patient and we wish the happy couple, Isabel and Carl, all the best for the future!
You can find out more on the couple’s Life2 On Tour blog where the very appreciative bride has posted the full story:
